City University – Ajman signed a memorandum of understanding with Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, to consolidate mutual relations, strengthen the bonds of mutual cooperation in the educational and training field, and hone the skills of human resources and provide them with the required expertise in artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Imran Khan, President of the University, and His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality Department, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
In this regard, His Excellency Imran Khan praised the University’s efforts and its standing cooperation, which casts a positive shadow on the relationship between both parties. He indicated that all the parties, departments and institutions of the Emirate aim to intensify efforts, provide joint services, and exchange positive knowledge and qualitative experiences, in order to drive leadership in the Emirate, which has witnessed prosperity and progress in various fields.
For his part, His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi stressed that the Department is proud of its relations with entities working in the field of education, skill honing and expertise development, seeking to unify the joint efforts between both parties to serve everyone and achieve the desired goals. H.E. also stressed the Department’s keenness to achieve a fruitful strategic partnership through setting the main joint frameworks and mutual coordination, to make use of the cumulative and mutual experiences of both parties, to exchange studies and research aimed at improving institutional work, developing customer services, improving the performance of operations and simplifying procedures, and to coordinate between the parties within the joint functional and practical cooperation framework to develop the technical and administrative capabilities of employees of both parties.
The memorandum sets the general framework for cooperation between the parties in all areas in which cooperation is possible, and according to it, the parties seek coordination in the technical fields and aspects related to the provision of these services. The memorandum is considered an official document that defines and explains the points and aspects of joint cooperation between the parties.
The memorandum provides for the joint implementation of workshops, training courses, seminars, and research related to future technologies, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, blockchain, metaverse and other modern technologies.
