The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) announced the completion of all preparations to participate in the Ajman Government’s summer program “Our Summer of Happiness” in its fifth edition, from July 15th-August 15th.
In this vein, Ibrahim Samra Al Shehhi, Director of the Liaison and Community Department and Head of the Summer Program Team at the MPDA, confirmed that the qualified cadres worked to develop a holistic plan for the program, where eight educational and cultural programs will be organized targeting children of different ages, as part of its keenness to hone the skills of the younger generation and provide them with scientific and practical knowledge and enable them to keep pace with rapid changes to prepare promising and ambitious generations.
Al Shehhi noted that the MPDA is keen to participate actively in the summer program every year, and targets the city of Ajman and the Masfout and Manama regions to grant children the opportunity to make good use of and enjoy the summer vacation times.
The MPDA decided, in the current edition of the program, to organize interactive workshops for people of determination, the autism category, believing in their important role and the necessity of providing programs targeting children who are worthy support and motivation to move on in life, armed with skills, hobbies, knowledge, and information, Al Shehhi said.
The MPDA achieved many successes during its participation over the program’s previous editions, Al Shehhi said, adding that the programs and workshops achieved positive results, and addressed children and young people in easy and interesting ways. He called on children’s families to quickly register their children in the announced programs to be among the beneficiary group.
