MPDA organizes innovation lab with customers to develop rental dispute resolution services

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), in line with the axes of the National Zero Government Bureaucracy (ZGB) Programme, organized an innovation lab with customers to develop rental dispute resolution services and implement the smart litigation project, as part of the continuous endeavor to go on with the process of facilitating customers and providing the best services to all, by harnessing state-of-the-art technologies and artificial intelligence in various walks of life.

 

In this connection, Eng. Noura Rashid Shattaf, Executive Director of the MPDA’s Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector, referred to the MPDA’s permanent keenness to meet with real estate offices, property owners and plaintiffs, and to learn about their requirements and needs, and to attract their positive ideas and development proposals, as they are the goal and target, and the axis of positive change.

 

Eng. Shattaf said: “Today we have decided to hold a session to benefit from and exchange suggestions, opinions and qualitative experiences between the MPDA and the customers, and we were pleased with the attendance that reflects confidence in the MPDA and consolidates aspects of dealing and joint cooperation to achieve the best.”

 

The MPDA’s efforts are in line with the wise visions and sound directions of our leading UAE. These efforts support all national programs geared towards facilitating procedures and keeping pace with positive plans, goals and ambitions. We are moving forward in the process of bureaucracy and reducing unimportant procedures, stressing the importance of interconnection and integration among entities in the interest of society, she said.

 

Eng. Shattaf asserted that the MPDA is keen on ensuring life quality and society happiness and achieving the best results whose impacts are felt by all, by speeding up the implementation of development programs and projects to reach the future, according to the MPDA’s artificial intelligence strategy, which achieves the Emirate’s vision on creating a sustainable environment and a modern structure to build the future of Ajman.

 

Work Never Stops

For his part, Mr. Issa Mohammed Al Mulla, Director of the Rental Regulation Department, provided a detailed explanation of the services provided by the Rental Dispute Resolution Department, which include requests to resolve rental disputes, register petitions, and register rental lawsuits, noting the services provided by the Enforcement Department, which include receiving requests submitted to open enforcement files and estimate fees, and the department’s objectives, which include notifying the enforcees of registering the enforcement files and the rulings of the Rental Disputes Committee, managing the agenda for implementing the decisions and assignments of the enforcement officers, following up on the issuance of enforcement decisions, and implementing the rulings and assignments issued by the enforcement judge.

 

Al Mulla added that the Enforcement Department works on issuing accounting reports in enforcement files, implementing arrest warrants and travel bans issued by the enforcement judge, implementing decisions to pay amounts in installments and transfer payments to owners, archiving enforcement files, managing the database of enforcement cases, achieving prompt justice and stability in the rental real estate sector, and effectively implementing the decisions of the Rental Disputes Committee to preserve rights.

The session eyed great interaction from the attendees who appreciated the efforts of the MPDA and its important role in the real estate market and preserving rights among customers, hailing the workshop that brings the MPDA together with them to enrich the development process and participate in the desired improvement.
