Costing AED 1,900,000
The Municipality and Planning Department-Ajman (MPDA) has completed a 6km-road lighting project in Masfout, at a cost of AED 1,900,000, using LED technology that contributes to reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions to preserve the environment, as part of MPDA’s endeavor to provide an integrated infrastructure across Ajman.
In this vein, Saif Ghadeer Al Ketbi, Director of Masfout, noted that professionals working in Masfout’s Road Department have completed the lighting project in the vital area, which sees an around-the-clock vital movement by residents and visitors.
The implementation of the internal road lighting project in residential areas meets the needs of residents and visitors and goes in line with the department’s goals geared towards providing all the elements of luxury and comfort for all. It also goes in line with the department’s plan to develop and improve the infrastructure, consistent with Ajman’s 2040 urban plan, to meet the needs of local population and urban expansion, to improve the quality of life, and to achieve the goals of Ajman’s strategic indicators, Al Ketbi added.
