The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) celebrated the 52nd Union Day, holding a myriad of heritage activities at the Masfout Museum, stressing its pride in the national occasion that narrates the march of success, leadership and prosperity of the inception of the sublime Union.
The MPDA’s celebration eyed the presence of His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, MPDA’s Director General, and the MPDA’s executive directors, in addition to the MPDA’s staff and the people of Masfout.
His Excellency said, “We were keen to celebrate this occasion which is so dear to our hearts in Masfout, which is rich in heritage, history, ancient past, brilliant present, and matchless civilization,” stressing that the Union Day is written in letters of the shining strength and cohesion of the generous nation, which has made breakthroughs over the past years and is still on with the achievements and successes made by its loyal people who chart the path of progress and leadership with their creativity and energies.
His Excellency said that the founding fathers laid out a road map rich in achievements for the United Arab Emirates to go on with its qualitative journey towards progress and leadership in various fields; education, innovation, economics, artificial intelligence, and comprehensive, integrated and sustainable development in various sectors.
The MPDA is celebrating today, along with all the state’s institutions, bodies and departments, the private sector, and every citizen, resident and visitor, to voice love for their homeland and dear leadership, and to renew loyalty and belonging to move hand in hand towards years full of success, progress and excellence, regionally and globally, His Excellency noted.
The MPDA’s celebration included a host of heritage performances that embody the history and identity of the United Arab Emirates.
