In its Second Edition, Humaid Bin Rashid International Sustainability Award announces the continuing receipt of entries until December 2023

Humaid Bin Rashid International Sustainability Award, Second Edition announced the continuing receipt of local and international entries related to innovative research until December 15, 2023.

In this context, Eng. Khaled Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of Public Health and Environment Sector, stressed that the award is aligned with the strategy and vision of the UAE leaders, which seek to achieve a better and more prosperous future for the country, in addition to the continuing global work to find more sustainable solutions to confront environmental challenges, and hence sought to support outstanding ideas and projects in the field of environment and sustainability through the constant organization of the award, which is rewarded to specialists in this field.

Eng. Al Hosani explains that the award aims to honor and encourage everything that supports sustainability, whether it be research or specific projects in the environment, or personalities who have made contributions in this field. The award is also given to organizations that apply sustainability the principles and are an example for other organizations to follow.

Al Hosani said that the door for participation and nominations will be opened from last October 15, and explained that the projects will be presented to the scientific committee for evaluation and the winner will be announced in March 2024 within the activities of the Ajman International Environment Conference, calling on experts and leading entities to compete in the award that supports those eligible in sustainability and environment field.

It is worth noting that the scientific committee for the second edition of the award includes a number of experts, academics and environmental specialists and includes local and international jury members. The committee judges the contestants, evaluates the projects from the scientific and applied aspects, and votes to choose the best entries.
