The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman has announced the completion of the project for construction of a network of internal roads in Al Mowaihat and Al Rawda areas. This project is designed to enhance accessibility to lands and homes and improve infrastructure, thereby fostering connectivity between various infrastructure components and residential communities, while also promoting urban development within the Emirate.
The project includes the construction of roads spanning a total of 10 kilometres in both Al Mowaihat and Al Rawda, facilitating traffic flow and access to houses in these areas. It is also expected to stimulate construction and investment activities, further supporting urban expansion in the region.
Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, stated: “The project’s completion aligns with the Department’s continuous efforts to enhance the road network within the Emirate. It significantly improves access for citizens and residents to their homes and bolsters urban development in Al Mowaihat and Al Rawda areas”.
Al Muhairi further noted that the project was executed in accordance with the highest technical and engineering standards, underscoring the Department’s unwavering commitment to advancing the road network and infrastructure in the Emirate to meet the community’s evolving needs.
Al Muhairi highlighted that this project plays a crucial role in enhancing the wellbeing for both citizens and residents, facilitating the integration of various infrastructure elements to create a more comfortable and efficient living environment.
