His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Municipality and Planning – Ajman (MPDA), reviewed the latest digital technologies, smart applications and qualitative projects at GITEX 2024, hosted by the Dubai World Trade Centre.
His Highness voiced his pride in the most important technical event that brings together under its umbrella all leading entities, departments, institutions and companies in the digital areas, and is a beacon for brilliant minds from all over the globe to meet in the United Arab Emirates, which represents an ideal and global model in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
In every session of GITEX, His Highness says: “We see the most important technical products and solutions, and real projects, and we meet the largest entities, manufacturers and developers of technology worldwide, to see the distinguished achievements in various fields.”
Platforms showcasing most prominent achievements
His Highness toured the exhibition platforms, where he learned about the most prominent achievements of the Government of Ajman and its departments and bodies in the technical areas, the latest digital innovations and smart services. His Highness praised the Emirate of Ajman’s confident and steady steps towards full digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence to provide the best services to the community.
His Highness was briefed on the latest technologies and projects on the exhibition platforms, which count on sustainable improvement and development to provide the best.
Largest AI-enhanced data center
During his tour, His Highness witnessed the launch of the largest data center enhanced with artificial intelligence technology in the UAE, established by Khazna Data Center, in the Emirate of Ajman, to be the first of its kind in the region.
His Highness listened to a detailed explanation of the center, whose artificial intelligence-enhanced data is estimated at 100 megawatts, reflecting the UAE’s readiness to lead innovation with artificial intelligence, and contributes positively to supporting the local economy by enabling jobs for highly skilled people in the artificial intelligence field, along with enhancing the State’s reputation as an investment hub for business, artificial intelligence and innovation.
