His Highness, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, received His Excellency, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and his accompanying delegation, at his office.
During the meeting, the achievements of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in the field of Emiratization and support for Emirati youth were discussed, in addition to discussing ways to enhance higher education in the UAE in a manner that contributes to building an advanced and sustainable community.
His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of integrating government efforts to achieve sustainable development, noting that Ajman gives great importance to providing opportunities for Emirati youth in various fields, while being committed to providing a supportive environment to enable them to achieve their aspirations.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar discussed the initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in facilitating the student’s transition from general education to higher education and then to the labor market, and the role of the Ministry in supporting higher education institutions as key partners in developing students’ skills and providing them with diverse paths according to their interests and capabilities, in a manner that serves the labor market and national priorities.
