The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) announced that it has won the MIKE (Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise) Gold Category Award at the Middle East and South Africa level, in the area of knowledge management, becoming the first entity across the Government of Ajman.
His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, honored the ambitious competencies that helped the MPDA through excellence, explaining that the achievement embodies the MPDA’s excellence in knowledge management and dissemination in innovative ways.
His Excellency voiced his pride in the MIKE Award, which is granted to institutions demonstrating unique creativity in empowering knowledge workers through a variety of knowledge initiatives, in line with the UAE Vision 2030, aiming to transfer knowledge and reinforce communication among workers.
The Award Committee spoke highly of the “Knowledge Balance Challenge” Initiative, which aims to motivate employees to exchange knowledge and experiences, creating a work environment that encourages innovation and the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
It is noteworthy that the Award is added to the MPDA’s record of achievements in myriad fields, in appreciation of its cadres’ continuous efforts to bring out the best results and carry on excellence and superiority.
