The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) received 25 male and female students from the Ajyal 2024 Summer Training Program, out of its keenness to qualify young talents and give them the opportunity to navigate practical life, provide them with experiences and skills, and seize their leisure time during the summer vacation.
In this vein, Mohammad Ali Al Mahri, Director of the MPDA’s Human Resources Department, asserted that holding the Ajyal Program in its 23rd session translates its success in achieving the goals desired of its launch, adding that the summer program is kicking off under the direct guidance of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chair of the MPDA, and with the follow-up of His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, out of their keenness to train promising generations and hone their scientific knowledge through practical field training, establishing their professional awareness to serve their country in myriad sectors.
The MPDA eyes a remarkable large turnout of students every year, which demonstrates their awareness and keenness to seize the opportunity of the practical program, benefit from the experiences of the cadres, model them, have direct contact and effective communication with them, Al-Mahri said, hailing the role of the MPDA’s qualified competencies who do not hesitate to introduce the students with the work of the MPDA’s sectors and the efforts geared towards providing an integrated infrastructure, caring for the health and safety of all, providing smart services, and ensuring life quality and society happiness.
For their part, the students voiced their pride in the experience of working at the MPDA, which attracts promising talents, hone their skills and capabilities, employs scientific expertise on the ground, and enables them to achieve the best results.
It is worth mentioning that the MPDA’s Human Resources Department presented a detailed explanation to students on the nature of work at the MPDA, to introduce them to the daily work, its features, and the progress of procedures at the MPDA’s departments and sections, and to distribute them to the sectors to begin the journey of learning and positive work over a whole month.
