MPDA, EAS sign MoU to enhance community work joint cooperation

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates Autism Society (EA) to enhance joint cooperation in the field of community work.

 

The MoU was signed by Eng. Noura Rashid Shattaf, the MPDA’ Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector, and Ms. Fatima Saif Al Matrooshi, the EAS’s Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors, in the presence of myriad officials from both sides.

 

In this vein, Eng. Noura Shattaf asserted that the MPDA seeks to build bridges of joint cooperation and open horizons for mutual work with leading entities, institutions and associations in the community field. The MPDA support the autistic category as they are an integral part of society and have proven their skills, talents and ability to contribute to their community, and supporting them is a duty and a shared responsibility from everyone, she noted.

 

For her part, Ms. Fatima Saif Al Matrooshi voiced her pride in cooperating with the MPDA, which plays essential roles in serving the community and its happiness in various sectors of life. The MoU aims to enhance aspects of joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of community awareness and making the environment friendly to autism and people of determination, she said, adding that efforts are concerted towards the sustainability of community initiatives and projects for people of determination.

 

The MoU covers identifying aspects of cooperation and coordination to carry out scientific and cultural programs and events and activities of common interest, exchanging consultations and research, organizing training courses, workshops and seminars, and engaging in special conferences in the field of work of the two parties.
