A delegation from the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) visited the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the delegation’s official visit to the Kingdom and participation in the Gulf Municipal Work (GMW) Conference.
His Excellency Dr. Anas Al-Mughari, the AUDI’s Director General, received the delegation headed by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, the MPDA’s Director General, in the presence of Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the MPDA’s Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector, stressing the depth of mutual relations and keenness to open horizons for present and future work between the two parties, to strengthen joint coordination and exchange brilliant experiences and expertise to achieve the goals desired.
The meeting eyed a review of the AUDI’s work, goals and plans, urban governance, urban resilience, greening cities, local economic development, competitiveness of cities, and talking about people’s cities and humanizing cities.
For his part, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi hailed the AUDI’s work, non-stopping efforts and accomplishments during the past period, stressing the MPDA’s pride in deepening cooperation and mutual coordination for the sake of both parties.
