The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) announced the continuation of its efforts to green all areas and streets of the Emirate, and to synchronize the implementation of road development projects with beautification projects and increase green spaces, in line with the efforts made to advance the Emirate to be one of the green cities that attract residents and visitors.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, emphasized during his meeting with the MPDA’s leaders represented by Eng. Khaled Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, and Dr. Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the MPDA’s Infrastructure Development Sector, and department directors, that the MPDA aims to develop an integrated infrastructure, enhance the attractiveness of the Emirate and provide the best living requirements, enrich the life quality in Ajman, and construct sustainable buildings, noting that increasing green spaces is a fundamental pillar for preserving the health of society, in addition to crowning efforts to preserve the environment.
His Excellency explained that the MPDA has prepared an integrated plan to implement landscaping projects for a large number of intersections and main roads in the Emirate, in addition to focusing on planting residential neighborhoods, and continuing to carry out agricultural projects geared towards preserving the aesthetic image of the Emirate, improving air quality and curbing pollutants, and keeping pace with wise visions and sound directions to spread the green area in the Emirate.
It is worth noting that work is in full swing to complete agricultural landscaping projects in road projects currently under construction, within the framework of the continuous pursuit to achieve the best.
