The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has completed its preparations to host the Innovation Month 2025, a national event embodying the UAE’s commitment to disseminate the culture of innovation and enhance cooperation among the public and private sectors and individuals, playing great part in achieving sustainable development.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, asserted that the MPDA is keen to actively participate in this national event on an annual basis, out of the vision of the wise leadership to make innovation a sustainable approach to work and life. The MPDA has set an integrated plan that includes launching smart projects and advanced programs based on artificial intelligence and modern technologies, along with organizing interactive workshops, dialogue sessions, and innovation labs, in cooperation with public and private entities, academic and community institutions, His Excellency added.
His Excellency noted that the MPDA’s national competencies work with the spirit of innovation to provide qualitative solutions that contribute to optimizing services and enhancing life quality, stressing the MPDA’s keeping of its social responsibility by supporting innovators and motivating institutions and individuals to adopt innovative practices that contribute to developing the Emirate and enhancing its position in the innovation area.
For her part, Dr. Sheikha Noura Al Nuaimi, Innovation Advisor, said that the municipalities of Masfout and Manama and all sectors of the MPDA work on tailoring and developing innovative future initiatives and projects, geared towards anticipating challenges and providing creative solutions that support sustainable development and social transformations in myriad area.
It is worth noting that the events will continue throughout February 2025, in cooperation with experts and specialists to support and enable qualitative ideas and pioneering projects in innovation and advanced technology.
