In this regard, Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the MPDA’s Public Health and Environment Sector, asserted that the Festival embodies the ancient history of the Emirate of Ajman and represents the authentic heritage and introduces the younger generations to the crafts practiced by the ancestors to enhance the positive culture and instill a distinctive identity in the younger generations. The MPDA is keen in each session to participate and leave a distinctive mark, targeting all segments and categories of society, he said.

Eng. Al Hosani said that the MPDA will participate represented by the Department of Parks and General Agriculture, which will provide educational workshops on palm planting. The Central Laboratories Department will also be present, providing a free service to examine honey samples that it will receive from contestants from inside and outside the Festival, exhibitors and participants.
Â
The MPDA sought the participation of laboratories for the second time as part of its keenness on maintaining the health and safety of everyone, as qualified competencies rely on examining samples using the latest technologies and devices used in examining samples of Sidr, Samar and crystallized honey in addition to beeswax, to include many tests with the percentage of moisture, sugars and others, he added.
