His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), said on the Commemoration Day that this day is a great anniversary wherein we celebrate the sacrifices of our heroic martyrs who gave their lives for this generous nation, as they wrote with their blood the noblest meanings of loyalty and sacrifice to remain a symbol of pride and dignity.
His Highness asserted that the sacrifices of these heroes are also living lessons from which we learn loyalty and belonging to the nation, and embody the highest meanings of the union under whose banner we live today. His Highness explained that every sacrifice made by our martyrs was an essential part of building the future of the nation and protecting it from all harm.
“The sacrifices of our heroic martyrs will remain alive in our hearts and minds, and the memory of these heroes will remain a source of inspiration for future generations,” His Highness said, noting that the UAE will always appreciate the sacrifices of the families of the martyrs, as the memory of their sons will remain alive in the nation’s memory and will never be forgotten.
His Highness wrapped up saying: “We ask Allah Almighty to have mercy on our martyrs, to make them dwell the Paradise, and to protect our beloved country from all harm.”
