His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, celebrated the Municipality’s talents who achieved 8 awards at the 2024 Ajman Excellence Program, during a ceremony at the Municipality’s headquarters in the presence of H. E. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department, along with executive directors, employees, and work teams.
In his opening speech at the ceremony, His Highness addressed the Municipality’s employees, emphasizing that they serve as a role model of creativity and excellence across various fields. He highlighted their unity as a family with a shared goal of ensuring the happiness of every individual in the community, serving residents, elevating the Emirate of Ajman, achieving leadership, and sustaining qualitative accomplishments.
His Highness also stated that the most valuable medal and award the Municipality has received is the Community Happiness, delivering efficient and high-quality services, and launching impactful projects that benefit all. He commended the continuous efforts and integrated teamwork striving for excellence.
Six-Star
His Highness expressed pride in the Municipality’s achievement of 8 awards, including a 6-star rating under the Global Star Rating System for the personal presence channel at the Customer Happiness Center. This makes it the first local department in Ajman’s government to achieve such an achievement, underscoring the Municipality’s commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. His Highness extended gratitude to all work teams and inspiring resources for achieving a 5-star rating for the smart application and website channels.
Qualitative Achievements
His Highness highlighted that the Municipality is reaping the rewards of diligent work by receiving the Government Entity Awrad for Customer Hippieness, for the third consecutive year. He noted the Municipality’s collaboration with other entities within the emirate, believing that its success is rooted in unified objectives and integrated tasks. His Highness expressed pride in the Municipality’s well-deserved recognition with the Government Entity Award for Partnership and Government Integration, achieving the highest scores in the partnership, integration, and government communication standards, as well as the Ajman Award for Outstanding Project Management.
Medal of Excellence
It is noteworthy that Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, received the Outstanding Employee Award (Supervisory Category) in recognition of his exceptional efforts over the past 20 years of dedicated work. His achievements include developing integrated and advanced infrastructure and direct supervision of vital projects across the emirate. Additionally, Abdul Latif Raheem was honored with the Unsung Hero Award for his commendable contributions.
