H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman, received at his office in the Department a delegation from “Sandooq Al Watan”, with the membership of H.E. Hind Baqer, the Director-General of “Sandooq Al Watan”, H.E. Ahmed Mahmood Fikri, the Director-General of Abu Dhabi Statistics Center and the Former Deputy Director-General of “Sandooq Al Watan”, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Raeesi, the General Supervisor of the Programs of “Sandooq Al Watan” in Ajman.
His Highness confirmed in the beginning of the meeting that “Sandooq Al Watan” has succeeded in the achievement of its noble objectives, being namely, developing the capabilities and sharpening the talents of the children of the homeland. He stated that the fund has worked hard over the past period for the implementation of qualitative programs in the various Emirates of the country, and it has also contributed to enabling the citizens of the UAE by opening horizons and opportunities of training, education and professionalism for the growth and development of their maximum potential. He applauded the Fund’s qualified personnel who are sparing no notable effort to continue the hard work and progress for the promotion and excellence of the homeland in all fields.
His Highness conveyed his pride of the “Emirati Programmer” program that was offered by the Fund, as it has contributed to guiding the creative brains to the right path and has taught the new generation programming basics in an enjoyable and interactive manner. He stated: “We have witnessed the program’s outcomes, being qualitative projects produced by little hands, but big minds, that will lead us to the future, excel in future jobs, and export to the world projects that have been implemented with Emirati hands.”
During the meeting, His Highness inspected the Fund’s strategy for the upcoming stage, as it will intensify efforts for the development of youthful national personnel and qualify them to become leaders of the future, and it will also aim to adopt pioneering ideas and projects that serve the developmental process of the UAE.
From her side, H.E. Hind Baqer gave His Highness a detailed explanation of the Fund’s achievements over the past period and its aspirations for the upcoming stage. She stated that the Fund is working unstoppably for the discovery and care of the talented in order to achieve their maximum potential, enhance the programming language, create a new generation of programmers, give professional guidance for the development of youthful Emirati competencies, support applied research and innovation for the development of national technologies, and support emerging innovated projects in the field of technology.
His Highness appreciated the Fund’s efforts and qualitative programs, being led by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Fund’s Chairman, and the Fund’s Directors, who are working for the programs to reach all the Emirates of the UAE. He wished the Fund ongoing advancement and success, the attainment of the strategic objectives, and the sharpening of the skills and talents of the promising brains.
