The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) completed a 12-kilometre-long road lighting project in Masfout, at a total cost of 3 million dirhams. using state-of-the-art lighting technologies (LED) that takes part in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions for environmental protection. This comes in line with the MPDA’s constant quest to ensure sustainability, provide integrated infrastructure, enhance interconnection between infrastructure elements and residential communities, and achieve balanced urban development and sustainable development.
In this connection, Saif Ghadeer Al Ketbi, Director of the Masfout Municipality, asserted that that lighting internal roads in residential areas translates the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and with the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, to develop and refine infrastructure in residential areas, so as to meet the needs of population and urban expansion in the Emirate, improve the life quality, and achieve the goals of Ajman’s strategic indicators.
In accordance with the recommendations of the urban plan, the MPDA pays great attention to Masfout, which is a tourist city with charming nature and attractive potentials. It works to provide an advanced infrastructure and adopts a crystal clear plan for holistic development in the region, Al Ketbi added.
