In a significant accomplishment that underscores the dedication of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman to fostering innovation within government operations, the Department has been awarded the “Innovative Government Institution” (CGInO) certificate by the Global Innovation Institute. This milestone marks the department as the first governmental body in the Emirate of Ajman to receive such recognition.
The certificate was conferred upon His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department, alongside His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department. During the ceremony, the personnel who played a pivotal role in this achievement were honoured for their contributions to the implementation of innovative practices and the development of government services.
His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi commended the efforts of the X Ajman Center and the dedicated team, emphasizing that this certification is a testament to the Department’s ongoing commitment to innovation.
His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi also acknowledged this accomplishment, highlighting its alignment with the Department’s strategic vision for leadership in governmental innovation. He noted the significance of this accreditation in improving the efficiency of government operations and fulfilling the aspirations of the esteemed leadership.
For her part, Dr. Sheikha Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi, Director of the X Ajman Center, stressed that the success achieved is a result of effective collaboration among the teams, assuring that the Center will persist in offering accredited courses and certifications in the realm of innovation.
