The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman announced the launch of “Warehouse Contract Attestation” service, in competition of the “Ease of Doing Business” package in the emirate, which aims at providing many advantages to the tenant who has obtained a commercial license and is interested in securing a warehouse.
In this regard, Eng. NOURA RASHID SHATTAF, Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector, confirmed that the Department is in a non-stop endeavor to facilitate the provision of the services to all of its customers in an ideal manner, indicating that the service includes activating the interconnection between the Department of Economic Development and Ajman Sewerage Company to provide an integrated package that saves time and effort, as the service is available around the clock.
Mrs. SHATTAF said, that the ambitious competent cadres at the Department have worked on creating a single-stop portal for the customer, reducing the points of interaction from 14 steps to only 4 steps, and the attachments became 2 instead of 4 attachments, explaining that the Department is keen on providing a rich experience for the customers and promoting their happiness, by increasing the provision of ideal services and improving its procedure continuously.
The Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector explained, that the regulatory service aims at protecting the rights of both parties, the Landlord and the Tenant, in the emirate according to the applicable terms and the laws in force and for storage purposes. Also, the data is reflected in the Department of Economic Development in “TASDEEQ” system without the need for manual entry.
Activating the Interconnection
Mr. AMMAR ALKAYED added, that a “No Objection Certificate” service from Ajman Sewerage Company has been linked to “TASDEEQ” system without the need for the customer to visit the company after submitting the transaction to be reviewed by the rental regulation employees within one business day, and the post-approval stage continues, until the transaction is automatically forwarded to the Health and Environment Department in the event of activities that require their approval, and the customer will be given the permit needed from the Department of Economic Development in “TASDEEQ” system without the need to refer to the Department within two business days, and after approval, the fees are to paid in “TASDEEQ” system.
It is noteworthy, that the Department organized the launch workshop for the “Warehouse Contract Attestation” service, which aimed at improving and developing the “Warehouse Contract Attestation” procedure in line with the requirements of the modern era, including providing a detailed presentation of the new service and its working mechanism, in addition to a discussion session to answer inquiries and attract development proposals.
