The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman launched the Ajman government program, “Our Summer of Happiness 2024,” through the introduction of the renewable energy program. Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the Department, was present along with Ahmed Al Raisi, Chairman of the Program Organizing Committee, Abdul Aziz Abdulla, the general supervisor of the program, Ibrahim Samra Al Shehhi, Director of the MPDA’s Communication and Community Department, and head of the summer program activities team in the Municipality Department, and Dr. Sheikha Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi, Director of Ajman X Center.
Dr. Eng. Bin Omair elaborated on the Department’s pride in bringing in talents and creative minds from ambitious generations to sharpen skills and expand knowledge in fields like artificial intelligence and sustainable development, utilizing abilities to generate impactful projects.
Dr. M. Bin Omair mentioned that the Department chose to kick off the summer program with an important theme, focusing on renewable energy, in order to help young generations understand the current demands and trends, foster their innovative and creative skills, and showcase their talents and abilities to achieve notable accomplishments.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Raisi commended the Department for its efforts, ongoing collaboration, and commitment to participating in cultural and educational programs to equip children and youth with knowledge and skills, enabling them to adapt to fast-paced changes and build ambitious future generations.
The Department will carry on with its different programs in the fifth edition of the government program from July 15 to August 15.
