Ajman Municipality & Planning Department announced its readiness for happy Eid Al-Fitr, with stating that it will continue to receive the transactions of the public for all the Department’s services via smart channels, in the course of its efforts for ensuring the quality of life and the happiness of society.
Inspection & Control
The Department stated that it will intensify its inspection and control campaigns of food and health facilities, beauty centers, and health centers, which witness high demand during the period of Eid.
Inspection teams will continue operating all around the clock to follow-up and ensure the entities’ compliance with health requirements and to ensure the compliance of all entities with the laws and health codes in force in what would ensure the health and safety of the members of the society.
The Department stated that it will undertake periodic and intensive campaigns on the entities that prepare and serve food, as well as consumer facilities, cooperative societies, and traditional kitchens, to ensure their adherence to health and safety standards and to ensure the quality of food stuff and handle complaints all around the clock, with stating that efforts are being intensified for ensuring the entities’ compliance with the necessary health requirements for the preparation and service of foods and their compliance with the applicable health practices of the Department.
In a related context, the control campaign is going on for imported food shipments, in liaison with strategic partners.
Public Parks Are Open
The Agriculture & Public Parks Department announced the times of operation of public parks in the Emirate during the days of happy Eid Al-Fitr, which will be from 4 pm to 11 pm, whereas Al-Rashidiya Park would receive its visitors from 8 am to 11 pm, with stating that parks will witness holding events that will address all categories of the society for spending the most beautiful times for all categories of the society.
Parking Stops Are Free
The Department announced that all paid parking stops will be free-of-charge during the holiday of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr from 1 Shawwal to 3 Shawwal, whereas paid parking stops will resume operation on 4 Shawwal, in the course of its efforts for ensuring the happiness of the populace and the provision of the best services for everybody.
Abattoir Work Timings
Furthermore, the Department stated that the abattoir has completed all preparations for operation during the days of happy Eid Al-Fitr, as the Central Abattoir will be open throughout the days of Eid Al-Fitr from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, with stating that the abattoir will be closed from 13 April to 14 April 2024 for sterilization and maintenance works.
Masfout and Manama Abattoir
The Department noted that Masfout Abattoir will receive its customers on the first day of Eid from 7:30 am to 1 pm, while the abattoir will receive its customers on the second day of Eid from 7:30 am to 1 pm and then, from 4 pm to 7 pm for the evening shift. Operation will go on the third day of Eid from 7:30 am to 1 pm, and then, from 4 pm to 7 pm for the evening shift.
Manama Abattoir will receive its customers on Monday, 8 April, and Tuesday, 9 April, from 9 am to 2:30 pm, and will be open for customers on Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 1 pm, and will continue operation on Friday from 7:30 am to 12 noon, while it announced that the abattoir will be closed from 13 April to 14 April 2024 for maintenance and sterilization purposes.
The Decoration of Ajman Emirate Streets
To celebrate the imminent arrival of Eid, the Department has decorated the Emirate’s streets, parks, squares and bridges, and Masfout and Manama areas, with felicitation statements and illuminated boards.
