His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), paid a field visit to the MPDA’s RASID, accompanied by Dr. Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, and a myriad of department directors and officials.
During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the results of the RASID’s performance, including developments and accomplishments, along with the challenges facingit. A detailed presentation was also given, including statistics and figures on the performance and initiatives carried out, as the Department runs 24/7, and inspectors cover all areas of the Emirate. The report showed that RASID carried out 6,708 tours in 2024, and provided 55 community services all along the year. The visit also discussed the draft policy for organizing bachelor housing in the Emirate.
His Excellency praised the staff efforts, urging the implementation of the draft policy and reviewing by the relevant departments, stressing the importance of providing the necessary support to MPDA to face challenges and achieve the goals desired. The MPDA is keen to enhance the quality of services provided, and cooperation between the various departments to support control monitoring efforts, His Excellency explained.
For his part, Dr. Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani stressed that organizing bachelor housing is an important step towards enhancing the living environment in the Emirate, noting that cooperation between the various departments will take part in achieving this goal, with a focus on well-thought-out plans and innovative initiatives to improve life quality.
Wrapping up, the delegation made a field tour of the Operations and Communications Department, where the needs and observations of the inspectors were discussed. His Excellency the Director General praised everyone’s efforts, urging the continuous training and enhancing competencies to ensure the highest levels of control and monitoring quality. His Excellency also stressed the need to follow up on the implementation of directives to ensure that the Department’s strategic goals are achieved.
