His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), inspected the progress of work in the central laboratories aimed at providing the best services to customers and residents of the Emirate and controlling the quality of building materials, food and environmental materials, etc. This came during a field visit by His Excellency, accompanied by Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, and in the presence of the competencies working in the laboratories.
His Excellency praised the project to develop the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), geared towards smart transform in all services provided to customers, facilitating access to them and ensuring convenience for all. His Excellency followed up on the stages of completion of the project that will cast its positive shadows to improve work and raise efficiency.
New Examinations
His Excellency leaned about the new devices and technical equipment accompanying the project, and the new examinations that will come into effect with the launch of the project that is scheduled at the end of next October.
His Excellency stressed the importance of following up on development and modernization in the scope of examinations under local and international legislation, and in a manner that ensures continued care and preservation of consumer health in the Emirate of Ajman.
Systems Integration
For his part, Eng. Abdullah Al Tamimi, Director of the MPDA’s Central Laboratories Department, gave a detailed explanation to His Excellency about the details of the project, its objectives and desired results, appreciating the keenness of the senior leadership to provide the necessary support and continuous follow-up to complete the project, and the integration of the new e-system accompanying the devices with the MPDA’s e-systems, which is reflected in the quality of services provided to the MPDA’s clients.
