The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman welcomed a delegation from Dubai Municipality, reflecting its commitment to sharing knowledge and experience while exploring the best agricultural practices implemented in Ajman.
At the outset of the meeting with the visiting delegation, Mr. Ahmed Saif Al Muhairi, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Public Parks, emphasized that Ajman has emerged as a model city with a clear vision and strategic approach to afforestation, positioning itself among the green cities that offer an optimal living environment for both residents and visitors.
Al Muhairi expressed gratitude for the visit, which facilitated discussions on the frameworks and criteria for appointing agricultural contractors under privatization agreements for agricultural maintenance works, as well as the methods for evaluating and monitoring performance during contract execution.
The visiting delegation commended the ongoing collaboration with the Department and its unwavering commitment to fostering joint efforts across various domains.
Both parties agreed to enhance existing and future cooperation and to share information regarding contracts for outsourcing agricultural maintenance services.
