MPDA organizes Smart Litigation Workshop

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) organized a workshop for real estate offices and a number of landlords and tenants on the rental litigation management and execution system “Smart Litigation.” That was in the presence of His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA; Engineer Noura Rashid Shattaf, Executive Director of the Strategy Sector; His Excellency Judge Hamad Al Shaali, Chairman of the Rental Disputes Committee; Mr. Youssuf Mohammad Al Shaiba, Advisor to the Chairman of the MPDA for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence; and a host of landlords and real estate offices.

 

At the outset of the workshop, which brought together the MPDA and the system-involved customers, His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi noted that the MPDA always seeks improvement and sustainable development.

 

His Excellency said that the MPDA aligns its works and plans with the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program, geared towards simplifying and reducing government procedures and eliminating unnecessary procedures and requirements, in order to raise levels of government efficiency, quality, and flexibility all over services and systems.

For her part, Eng. Noura Shattaf said that the workshop aims to review the smart system, learn about opinions and suggestions, answer inquiries, and attract development ideas.

 

 

The system aims to resolve all civil rental cases by an innovative smart judicial system, to support sustainability by automating all rental litigation services, while ensuring simplified all operational processes, characterized by flexible procedures and absolute fairness, unbiased and non- discriminated, under Law No. 2 of 2017 Regulating the Relationship between Landlords and Tenants in the Emirate of Ajman, Eng. Noura added.

 

Process Automation

For his part, Mr. Issa Al Mulla, Acting Director of the Rental Regulation Department, gave a detailed explanation of the system’s features, workflow, procedures, and desired objectives. He explained that the smart litigation system will be one of the MPDA’s distinct systems, accurate and speedy to ensure processes are automated flexibly and fairy.

 

The MPDA will organize introductory workshops on the system, laws, and legislation, as part of its relentless efforts to facilitate procedures to provide the best for all and keep right, Al-Mulla noted.
