AJMAN MUNICIPALITY COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF TWO ROADS IN AL JURF 3 AREA TO IMPROVE TRAFFIC FLOW

The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman has announced the successful completion of the construction of two roads project in the Al Jurf 3 area, aimed at enhancing traffic flow and providing additional entry and exit points. This development will significantly reduce travel time and reducing congestion. The project is part of the department’s broader efforts to develop integrated infrastructure that links infrastructure elements and residential communities, while also promoting urban development within the Emirate.

The project included the construction of the first road, linking the area adjacent to the Speed Center for Vehicle Inspection and Registration with the extension of Fatima Bint Mubarak Street. Additionally, the second road provides an entrance from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Street to the Al Jurf 3 area, passing by the Police Sports and Shooting Club in that area.
Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, confirmed that the project was executed to the highest technical and engineering standards. He also pointed out that this project is part of the department’s continuous efforts to enhance the road network within the emirate and accommodate the increasing traffic density.

Dr. Al Muhairi stated that these new roads will significantly contribute to improving traffic flow, especially Al Jurf 3 area which witnesses active traffic. The project will reduce entry and exit times, helping to reducing congestion and provide a smoother traffic experience for both citizens and residents.

Dr. Al-Muhairi added that the project is in alignment with the department’s continuous efforts to develop integrated infrastructure that meets the needs of residents and visitors, while also promoting urban development across the emirate.
The department has confirmed that the project is now ready to meet the traffic demands in the area, enhancing the level of service and fostering more efficient mobility.
