The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman announced the official inauguration of the Volcano Street, which leads to the main entrance of the Ajman Cultural and Sports Club, in commemoration of the golden jubilee of the Club, established in 1974.
Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, stated that the decision to name the street after the club reflects its significant role in the community, having achieved numerous successes throughout its history and exemplifying the spirit of Ajman.
His Excellency Khalifa Al Jarman, Chairman of Ajman Club, expressed his pride in the street’s designation, recognizing the Club’s accomplishments that have earned it a distinguished status among national clubs. He highlighted the Club’s impressive record of excellence, which has met the expectations of its supporters who have consistently believed in its potential and creativity. Over the past fifty years, the Club has celebrated numerous sporting triumphs.
It is noteworthy to mention that this street will serve as a testament to the Volcano’s journey and significant milestones, honouring the contributions of its technical and administrative staff, as well as its exceptional athletes who have worked diligently to elevate the Emirate’s name in various sports arenas.
