The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman launched Community Majlis Initiative, which is designed to engage various segments and groups in the Department’s plans and projects through a series of community meetings. Held at Al Amer Majlis in Ajman, the inaugural session, titled “Behavioral Preferences for People of Determination,” was attended by Engineer Noura Rashid Shattaf, Executive Director of the Customer Happiness Sector. Also present were Fatima Saif Al Matroushi, a Director of the Ajman Club for Disabled, Marwan Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Service Centers Department, and Ibrahim Samra Al Shehhi, Director of the Communication and Community Department. The event was also attended by a number of people of determination and people with notable accomplishments in sports.
At the start of the session, Eng. Shattaf expressed her pleasure at the Majlis uniting departmental skills with a key societal group, opening with a session bringing decision-makers together with a group carrying innovative ideas and aspirations. She emphasized the positive impact of each person in the development process. “Together, we work towards creating a brighter future for Ajman”, she said.
Eng. Shattaf stated that community Majlis serves as a guiding light for allowing the emirate’s residents to voice their hopes and participate in all Department projects. She emphasized the Department’s dedication to utilizing public resources for the community’s benefit and their commitment to addressing residents’ needs, as they are best equipped to discuss their vision and current/future requirements.
Eng. Shattaf also mentioned that the Department offers high-quality services for people of determination in different areas and is committed to offering diverse options that cater to all preferences, necessities, and demands, emphasizing our goal to deliver the highest level of service to meet expectations, enhance customer satisfaction, as they play a crucial role in the Department’s ongoing success, and therefore efforts are consistently intensified to deliver optimal outcomes.
Friendly Brainstorming Session
The Majlis included a detailed presentation on the services provided by the main Customer Happiness Center, which made many qualitative achievements and was able to provide the service in real time to visitors, bringing the instant happiness index to 99%, and presenting an urgent service and Amer service, in addition to presenting a project to redesign the center to take in suggestions and attract bright ideas.
The initial session also addressed ways to enhance the Department’s smart app for people of determination to access services easily. The App, which can be used in 27 languages, utilizes technology and artificial intelligence to cater to all individuals.
The participants examined the characteristics and amenities of the parking service for people of determination, putting forth a series of improvement suggestions, applauding the Majlis concept that bolsters ties with the Department, fosters community partnerships, and shows a dedication to enriching the community’s involvement in all undertakings and ventures.
