Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), chaired a meeting to discuss the action plan for developing the Masfout area.
This took place during his reception, at his office at the MPDA, of His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, and Mohammed Khalifa Al Kaabi, Secretary General of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi praised the efforts exerted by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the Office of Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs at the Presidential Office, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, geared towards enhancing social stability for citizens and their families, raise their living standards and bring well-being and happiness to them, supporting the hallistic development process eyed by the State in every single area.
The Masfout region has the elements of nature, beauty, history, civilization and various features. During the past period, it saw economic and tourist growth, and we are still looking forward to achieving the best by counting on the strategic axes of the development project that is aimed at developing myriad societal and cultural aspects and all walks and sectors of life, he said.
Sheikh Rashid noted that the committee will seek to develop meaningful frameworks to render the region attractive to investment and sustainable growth, to improve the life quality for all segments of society, to ensure community happiness and to qualify it as a destination for tourists and investors.
For his part, His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq said that Masfout enjoys matchless components, heritage landmarks and distinct human potential, and we will work to support young energies and stimulate innovative projects. The project is kicking off with the support of the wise leadership with the aim to carry out national development plans all over the State.
The meeting set the work agenda, main objectives, and integrated plans to complete development projects in Masfout.
