MPDA signs 3 service level agreements with E&Emirates, Etihad WE, and Ajman Sewerage to launch Bait Amer 2nd phase

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has launched the second phase of the government package “Bait Amer Project” – Linking to the Achievement Certificate 2024. This came during the signing ceremony of three service level agreements between the MPDA, E&Emirates, Etihad Water and Electricity (Etihad WE), and the Ajman Sewerage Company.

 

The agreements were signed by His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the MPDA’s Director General, His Excellency Abdul-Aziz Hamad Taryam, E&Emirates Advisor to the CEO and Director General in the Northern Emirates, Engineer Youssof Ahmad Al Ali, Etihad WE’s CEO, and His Excellency Elias Sfeir, Ajman Sewerage’s Director General. That took place in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ohoud Shuhail, Director General of Digital MPDA, and a myriad of officials from the four bodies, and the work teams in the project which is geared towards ensuring the society’s life quality and happiness, and improving the experience of customers through the journey of building and moving to a new home by streamlining and accelerating procedures by adopting the proactive initiative that contributed to providing the best experience for UAE citizens who are about to build a home.

 

In this vein, His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Al Nuaimi stressed that the MPDA believes in the importance of integrating work among all parties and emphasizes the important role played by each party to provide the best results. The Bait Amer 1 package was able to achieve qualitative results as it contributed to completing the transaction in only five steps and with zero visit instead of 9 visits to the concerned authorities, a matter which contributed to raising the customer satisfaction rate to 93%, His Excellency noted, stressing that work is still continuing on the package in its second phase through unifying goals and developing plans to achieve what goes beyond expectations and facilitates procedures for all.

 

For his part, His Excellency Abdul-Aziz Hamad Taryam, E&Emirates Advisor to the CEO and Director General in the Northern Emirates, stated that E&Emirates takes pride in cooperation with leading government agencies. This cooperation mainly aims to enhance the happiness of community members and provide them with the best services, His Excellency noted, explaining the role of E&Emirates in preparing civil works and communications cables, accelerating supplying procedures upon completion of the project, and activating it directly upon receipt of the achievement certificate.

 

For his part, Engineer Youssof Ahmad Al Ali, Etihad WE’s CEO, said that the Bait Amer project, in its second phase, seeks to speed up the transactions of residential villa projects for citizens, by shortening the procedures and activating the comprehensive technical coherence system for the Bait Amer project, stressing the Etihad WE’s non-stopping keenness to create the necessary infrastructure to advance development efforts in various sectors, and to speed up service implementation procedures as much as possible, so as to improve customer experience and achieve the goals of the national initiative, “Zero Government Bureaucracy.”

 

In a related context, His Excellency Elias Sfeir, Ajman Sewerage’s Director General, said that the company works to improve institutional action to achieve common goals with the MPDA, as part of the mutual efforts to improve customer services, noting that the company will work to activate aspects of interconnection pursuant to its specializations and areas of work.

 

It is worthmentioning that Bait Amer Project is consistent with the Zero Bureaucracy Initiative, which aims to simplify and reduce further procedures and requirements, with the aim to advance joint action and raise efficiency, quality and flexibility levels.
