The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman concluded its outstanding participation in GITEX 2022, where it achieved an impressive success by the demonstration of the Department’s digital achievements within the Ajman Government Stand at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) over the period of 10-14 October 2022.
In this regard, Hind Al Shamsi, the Director of the Department’s Smart Services Department and the Head of the Department’s GITEX 2022 Committee, stated: “The Department was able over the past few days to enhance its ideal image and reach all categories of the society, thanks to its qualified competent personnel who are able to deal with everybody flexibly and smoothly. The Department is keen for ongoing development and improvement for the enrichment of customer experience. Therefore, it has launched 9 new services in the MPDA smart app.:
New Communication Channels
Al Shamsi continued: “The Department is keen to provide outstanding and innovative services to its clients, adopt innovation and development, and expand the range of its communication with customers, as a new and efficient communication channel has been launched, by the Department’s launching of MPDA app in Huawei Store. Furthermore, the Department launched a WhatsApp Business channel to be a quick digital means for communication with clients and the provision of its services with all ease.”
Honoring Partners & Suppliers
Al Shamsi said: “The Department emphasizes that is consecutive successes and achievements would not have taken place without the combined efforts and business integration. Therefore, the Department has cared to honor its partners of success and its outstanding suppliers in the most significant technical event in the world. Furthermore, the Department’s events at GITEX witnessed the signature of a memorandum of understanding with the company, Tatweer Middle East & Africa LLC.
A Remarkable Imprint
Al Shamsi stated: “The wise leadership, presided by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Department’s Chairman, and with direct follow-up from H.E. Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the Department’s Director-General, has stressed on the importance of taking part in the global digital event, so that it can leave a remarkable imprint and present the most significant achievements, including the Department’s earning of 20 certifications in the field of the intellectual property of innovative digital projects and intellectual works. In addition, the Department also launched the 4th version of “Raqeeb” and “Rased” systems.”

The Ajman Government Stand witnessed honoring the Department’s work team, which worked continuously hard for the demonstration of a bright image of the Department’s progress in the domain of digital transformation, the adoption of the best latest technologies, and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) for the quality of work and life.
