His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Dubai Quality Group, honored the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) for winning 8 awards in the Arab Ideas Award categories, the Emirates Ideas Award, and the Emirates Women Award.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, attended the honoring ceremony, in the presence of executive directors and the MPDA’s ambitious cadres.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi voiced his pride in the MPDA receiving 8 awards that are added to its record of success and excellence, which reflects the efforts of the MPDA’s sectors to provide high-quality and efficient services. The MPDA believes in the importance of transforming qualitative ideas into tangible projects that contribute to achieving beyond-expectation results, His Excellency noted.
His Excellency said that the MPDA, under the direct guidance of its Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, pursues the path of leadership and topping positions in various fields. The MPDA also believes in the role of enhancing positive competition to promote dedicated work and harness distinct ideas in various sectors.
The MPDA won 4 awards in the Arab Ideas Award for smart parking (Practical Efficiency Category), the Remote Litigation Project (Customer Happiness Category), Caring for and Empowering People of Determination (Caring for People of Determination Category), and Smart Irrigation Technologies (Green Initiatives Category).
The MPDA won 2 awards in the Emirates Ideas Award, for the Rental Contracts Certification Project (Bureaucracy Zero Category), and the Green Concrete Sustainability (Environment-Green Technologies Category).
Female competencies of the MPDA won 2 awards in the Emirates Women Award. as Dr. Houriya Al Balushi, Planning Advisor for the Infrastructure Development Sector, won the Administrative Employee Category Award, and Ms. Hind Matar Al Shamsi, Director of the Smart Services Development Department, won the Innovation Category Award.
