The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, the Ajman Police General, Headquarters, the General Department of Civil Defense – Ajman, and the Security Services Support Authority discussed a joint initiative to ensure life quality and society happiness, and provide an ideal and safe housing environment for all.
This came during a meeting of His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Nuaimi, the MPDA’s Director General, in his office, with His Excellency Brigadier General Raed Obaid Al Zaabi, Director General of the General Department of Civil Defense – Ajman, His Excellency Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, and His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Yousef Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Security Services Support Authority, in the presence of Engineer Khalifa Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Buildings Department and Head of the Buildings Compliance Team.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi stressed at the beginning of the meeting that the Emirate of Ajman has now become atop comfortable living, thanks to its available happiness and luxury potential, and the integration of the efforts of all relevant bodies to provide the best services to society, and raise the happiness index and the attractiveness index of the Emirate. It is also a destination for residents, tourists and investors, His Excellency added, noting that tireless work do not stop to achieve the best by consolidating partnership and launching qualitative initiatives that ensure the best results in various fields.
The meeting discussed a proposal to update the completion certificate and create a building compliance certificate, which links construction and safety services with the General Department of Civil Defense and the security oversight services of Ajman Police, to ensure that buildings meet the construction, safety, public health and security requirements through a unified package of services geared towards achieving the best results at the Emirate’s level in raising the sense of safety index, lowering the number of fires per 100,000 population, and ensuring the health of building residents.
The meeting also discussed the MPDA’s work and its initiatives aimed at strengthening partnership and opening up horizons for joint cooperation to carry out vital projects, among them this initiative, which will include providing facilities to support building owners and investors in the Emirate, a matter which play great part in attracting investors while ensuring the society’s life quality.
It is worth mentioning that the initiative will weigh on building requirements, building owners’ commitment to building requirements, Civil Defense’s requirements within the completion certificate service, and the MPDA’s public health requirements.
