The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman signed a MOU with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the financial field.
The MOU was signed on behalf of the MPDA by Mr. Khaled Ahmed Al Hosani, Executive Director of the MPDA’s Support Services Sector, and on behalf of the ICAEW by Hanadi Khalifa, Director of the ICAEW’s Middle East Office.
In this context, Mr. Khaled Al Hosani stressed that the MPDA is constantly seeking to consolidate mutual cooperation and coordinate aspects of partnership with leading entities, departments and associations in vital fields, including the financial field, as part of its continuous endeavor to unify joint efforts aimed at serving the public good and bringing about continuous improvement and development that has positive impact on all sectors of work and life.
For her part, Hanadi Khalifa said: “We look forward to working closely with the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman by providing professionals with access to internationally recognized certificates and training programs, as well as enhancing the development of their skills and experience, and we aim to contribute significantly to the development of the financial sector and sustainability sector in Ajman”. “Cooperation reinforces our commitment to supporting growth and prosperity in the region, and together we will work to build a financial workforce with specialized skills and qualifications in line with the goals of Ajman Strategic Vision”, she added.
The MOU formulates the framework for cooperation between the parties, to benefit from the cumulative mutual experiences of both parties and exchange studies, research, bright experiences and best practices in applying accounting standards.
