4 Creative Films with the participation of 10 Experts
The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman concluded the “Visual Architecture” Workshop, which was organized in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute and City Space Architecture, with the participation of 10 experts in the fields of architecture, design and filmmaking. The workshop aimed to hone the talents and skills of creators from Ajman University to guide them in the foundations of creating professional film content.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, Dr. Ida Zilio Grandi, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Dr. Riad Saraiji, Dean of the College of Architecture, Art and Design, and Dr. Luisa Bravo, President and Founder of City Space Architecture.
In this regard, Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi said that art is the beautiful message shared by all, and therefore the Municipality Department believes in the importance of preserving the common language between peoples and supports projects that embody the reality of cities and the development of architecture in creative films that convey the present and set a clear vision for future plans for cities.
Dr. Eng. bin Omair added that in its first session, the Ajman Biennale was able to achieve the desired goals of its launch, attracting participations from all over the world, seeking to highlight the most beautiful picture of the homelands, embody originality, history, heritage and the present, and draw an integral fabric for the best. its next sessions. “We decided to hold the workshop to broaden the horizons of participation and ensure that creative works from within the emirate join the Biennale in its next sessions”, he continued.
For her part, Dr. Luisa Bravo expressed her pride in the existing partnership with the Municipality Department, which seeks to promote dialogue between different cultures and nationalities that share coexistence in global cities, stressing that art, architecture and design bring together under its umbrella those seeking integration and creativity in various fields.
For her part, Eng. Alia Majlad Alshamsi, Head of the Biennale Team and Head of the Urban Observatory Department, said that the workshop formed a link between creative experts and talented competencies, who joined the workshop to transform ideas into visual projects, indicating that the participants succeeded in employing scientific and practical experiences and knowledge in the best way.
