The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman won Stevie International Award 2022 for the best supporting department category, to be the first government entity in the Emirate of Ajman to win the award.
In this regard, Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al Hosani, the Executive Director of the Department’s Supporting Services Sector, said during his receipt of the shield of excellence at Steve Awards Ceremony that was held in London: “The qualified and competent personnel of the Department’s Financial Affairs Department were able to achieve this honorable accomplishment that is to be added to the Department’s rich record of accomplishments. The competency of operations, the accuracy of performance, and the quality of production have contributed to passing all audit stages.”
Al Hosani continued: “The award brings together experts and specialists from all over the world to actively compete for the categories of the award. The Department’s winning of the award is an appreciation of its efforts in the adoption of the best global standards and practices and its utilization of the best innovative and developed solutions in the management of financial resources.”
Al Hosani stated: “The Department cares for leaving an outstanding imprint in all world events and awards, based on direct instructions of H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Department’s Chairman, and the follow-up of H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, the Department’s Director-General, thanks for their care for the demonstration of the ideal image of the Department, which seeks excellence in all its operation sectors and which proceeds forward according to ambitious plans for the attainment of leadership.”
