The second phase of Al-Helio Roads project

His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of Municipality and Planning Dept.-Ajman, completed the AED 42 millions road project during the fourth quarter of this year in order to make it easier for the Emirate’s citizens, residents and visitors from within and outside the country to streamline this vital area, ease the traffic crisis and enable all individuals to pass through it freely without getting caught up in traffic jams.

This came during his visit to supervise work in the second phase of Al-Helio road project and to discuss the latest developments of this important project in the vital area, which is considered the most significant and prominent area in the Emirate of Ajman. It witnesses a construction prosperity and movement lasting throughout the day. His Highness is accompanied by Director General of the Department, Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi and Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the Department, Eng. DR. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Omair Al Muhairi, who are both in charge of the project.

His Highness Stressed that the Department places the welfare of the citizens and residents at the top of its priorities; at the forefront of its agenda and permanently seeks to implement vital projects that bring happiness and welfare to the Emirate’s residents and visitors who are benefiting from the roads; pointing out that we are always strive to provide safe and convenient roads for all.

Hi Highness explained that we are keen to complete this vital project in a record time to enable the residents of the region to reach their businesses, their residential areas and their different destinations with ease and the least time and effort to facilitate, make it easier for them and to avoid disruption of their daily work. He pointed out that the development of infrastructure and roads in all areas of the Emirate of Ajman is the main objective we seek to transform the Emirate into a tourist city where its residents enjoy a peaceful and decent life. It attracts investors from all the poles of the world to open large-scale projects in a qualified environment and also become a tourist destination for everyone from all over the globe.

From his part, DR. Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Bin Omair Al-Muhairi, Executive Director of the infrastructure development sector in the Department, gave a detailed explanation on the progress of the project, where the completion rate was 50% for the length of roads to reach 12 kilometers. He indicated that the project owners, specialized cadres and working groups expand working hours and intensify the exerted efforts to speed up the completion of this important project and they spare no effort to complete it as soon as possible as it is supposed to be finished in the next few months before the end of the current year 2017.
